Hi Balaji.

The advanced session is run by Dr Mo Al-Ubaydli and covers: Case Studies, Security, Designing databases, Training other users, Sharing Clinical data and Contracts.

Let me know if there's anything else you would like to know.

Chris

Re: Royal Society of Medicine Handheld Computer Workshops

Dear Chris,

Yes, I did contact Dr.Mohammed. I have registered my wife also (online). Iam still waiting for the invitations by post. It would be better for me to get the invitations by post soon, as I have to make travel plans. I sent an email to Clare regarding this but yet to receive a reply (probably she is very busy now). Would you be able to help me in this regard?

Thanks Chris.

Hi Balaji, can't help you with the invites myself (they have to come from the RSM) but I'm sure Clare will be working on it if you've emailed her.

Best wishes,

Chris

Hi Chris,

I'v been trying to get a reply from Clare or sections@rsm.ac.uk but in vain. Are they not working on Saturdays? Just anxious to get the invitations on time so that I can prepare the travel documents (Visa etc.).

Regards,
Balaji

Hi Balaji, I'm afraid they won't be working on Saturdays or Sundays. Perhaps you could ring her on Monday nad get a fax of the invite - let me know if you need the number.

Cool Re: Royal Society of Medicine Handheld Computer Workshops

Hi there

those books from the workshop talk about video tutorials on this website ....any idea where they are ? all the links seems to point to a page advertising this event +the book ...but no videos!!

also just wondering about the authorship - when this book first came out - it was authored by Mo al-ubaydli + Chris Paton. On the day it just had Mo's name on it -does anyone know why that was? is there a different version of the book somehow?

cheers

Re: Royal Society of Medicine Handheld Computer Workshops

On the page with info about the book, the videos are listed down the right hand side - click on the name of the chapter to get the video. It should appear in a new window. You'll need to wait 30 secs or so to get the video.

The book is by Mo and me but I mainly worked on the tutorials and Mo mainly did the writing - hence Mo is down as the author and I'm down as 'creator of the videos'.
