MEDNET 2006 is being held in Toronto Canada, from October 13-20, 2006.

Handheld Computers in Medicine

I'll be running a hands-on tutorial about using PDAs in medicine. The tutorial is designed to cover almost all aspects of using PDAs in a healthcare setting and would be useful for anyone interested in this subject.

We'll be going through using basic PDA functions, installing and using medical reference software, how to use a PDA database to track patients and using PDAs in a wireless networks environment.

You don't need to be a registrant at MEDNET to attend the tutorial but I'd recommend registering for the conference as well.
