Thermal Script Printer

Hello All,
I am new to this forum, although I have been involved in the EMR industry for the past 3 years. My affiliation with the EMR industry is for computer hardware; the company which I am employed by, Star Micronics, has developed a thermal prescription printer. This printer works in conjunction with EMR Software; since our first product offering 3 years ago our TSP800Rx printer has been certified by more than 20 EMR Software Companies. We now offer two types of thermal prescription printers to the medical industry and have sold thousands of these printers to doctors, clinics and hospitals throughout the USA and Canada.
Our TSP800Rx printer is changing the way doctors and hospitals are printing prescriptions; providing a quick, legible and secure cure.

Using the Star Micronics TSP800Rx printer and the specialized thermal prescription paper offers a solution to the October 1st, 2007 deadline of Medicaid's "tamper-resistant prescriptions".

Call Star Micronics for price and delivery for this solution to Medicaid's prescription regulation at:
800-782-7636 extention 107.

To see this prescription printer our website link is:

Re: Thermal Script Printer

Friend I heard that the Star Micronics has a dual solution to print thermal prescriptions using its TSP800 thermal printer. Star is one of the first printer manufacturers to answer the call from the Medical and Pharmaceutical Industries to automate the prescription process and make the prescription process more efficient. The TSP800 printer enables doctors to print thermal prescriptions instead of handwritten prescriptions avoiding legibility errors. So is this better then yours?

Re: Thermal Script Printer

This is the same printer and manufacturing company - there are 2 types of TSP800 printers; one version, the TSP800Rx has a paper locking chamber, and a Cable Lock Slot, and the other version, just the TSP800 does not have any locks.
