PCMCIA-MMC On HP200LX

Hello
I have an old HP200 LX (still in use!) with a 512 Kb PCMCIA Card.
Now I found a PCMCIA 4 in 1 Card Reader and i plug a 512 Mb MMC Card ont it.
My IBM ThinkPad (Windows xp) reads normally the MMC Card.. BUT.. my HP 200LX does not!! I tried formatting the card on HO 200LX but he don't recognize the media.
Please help!!
