converting HP200 LX files/ dos files to windows

I found your website while combing the internet for help. I saw a previous posting regarding a similar isuue. I have used a HP 200 LX PDA for approx. 10 years and i basically use it as a book of lists. I have about 5,000 patients loaded onto it. Due to the obvious march of technology, I purchased a Dell Axim last year with Windows Mobile Media 5.0. The problem is that I can't convert the files to Windows. I have had multiple hospital IT people try as well as some "computer wizards."
Basically it is difficult to read Dos files into Windows. I saw a post of a similar problem, and Chris from Dunedin, New Zealand addressed it. Can Chris, or anyone help me with this issue? I would be forever indebted to such an individual. By the way, basic directions would be most helpful since I am a neophyte regarding the fine points of computer software.

Thank you very much.
