Breaking into the industry

Hello. I am a Field Service Engineer for a semiconductor company with over 7 years experience in the semiconductor field. I recently have been trying to get employment as a Field Service Engineer with a medical device company, but have had little luck. Every company has told me I need medical device experience. Anyone have any helpful suggestions as to what classes/courses I should take to get my feet in the door???? I have heard alot about CT, PACS and ultrasound devices and feel that these are what I need to learn about most. Any help would be appreciated!!!

Thanks!
Jerry
