Comprehensive Billing Solutions (CBS) and Misys Healthcare Systems, a market leader in healthcare IT, today announced a new relationship that will enable CBS to provide Misys' Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software to their clients.

Through the collaboration, CBS -- a full service physician accounts receivable management company -- is adding Misys EMR® to the solutions it offers to local businesses. In addition to the product, CBS will provide the infrastructure, hosting and application support through their proven ASP business model.

"We've been a practice management customer of Misys for more than five years and selected their EMR product for its proven stability and robust functionality," said Susan Coles, president and CEO of CBS.

The award-winning Misys EMR solution will enable CBS's physicians and medical practices to streamline productivity and maximize profitability. This modularly designed product provides electronic capabilities for routine tasks related to clinical data (such as transcription, imaging, orders management, messaging and prescription writing), as well as a wireless point-of-connection for physicians in the examination room. System implementation is flexible and the interface design is user-friendly, with three graphical screens displaying the bulk of information physicians and staff need access to during a patient visit.

In order to support this expansion, CBS has hired IT specialist Lisa Weinmann who will direct this new expansion. Lisa has worked in the IT field for over ten years, and comes to CBS from Unisource Administrators where she was Director of Client Services. Lisa holds a M.A. from FSU in Business Administration.
