PracticeXpert, Inc. (OTCBB:PXPT) today announced the release of the latest version of its PX Pocket PC system for charge capture. This new version includes, among other enhancements, G-codes for medical oncology.
Since a substantial portion of PracticeXpert's Revenue Management Services customers (outsourced medical billing and related services) are oncologists, the addition of oncology G-codes was seen as a necessary and logical product enhancement. The PX Pocket PC system is fully integrated with PracticeXpert's practice management and electronic medical records products, Xpert Practice Manager, and Xpert Electronic Health Record.
With over 70% of the company's revenues derived from revenue management services, most of which are with medical oncology and radiation oncology practices throughout the country, the focus of this new enhancement is to streamline the charge capture process and incorporate the requirements for the new "2006 Oncology Demonstration Program."
