Biometric Facial Recognition Software

I got the opportunity to demo some sweet facial recognition software. It is great for a doctor because it logs the computer out when you aren't present. The software was easy to install and learned to recognize me quite quickly. I also love the idea that it could capture a picture of whoever logged in for security.

I just finished working with the vendor of the facial recognition software. Now I can do single sign on with my EMR using my facial recognition. I still want them to make a few security changes and then I'll be working on implementing it across my clinic.

That's pretty cool - do you know of any other physicians using facial recognition to log in?

I know the people I'm working with have a number of clients. I also know the Health Center at University of Kentucky is trying it also.

I mentioned it to a doctor friend of mine from church and he wants to learn more about it too. I love it for my computer. They also now have 2 camera support which is good for tall and short people.
