Windows Mobile Emulator

I´ve seen some of the nice tutorials for the new book "The Doctor's PDA and Smartphone Handbook" and the work done with the emulators. I know about the PalmOS emulator and did a similar work time ago. But, where can I find a Windows Mobile emulator for Windows XP? I can't find any.

Re: Windows Mobile Emulator

Hi Carlos.

For the Windows Mobile tutorials I used a program called SOTI Pocket Controller. You need to have a Windows Mobile device connected to your PC and you can then controll it via the PC screen.

There is an emulator for Windows Mobile which you can get from the MS developers site but it involves installing the complete WM SDK and various programming applications.

Thank you very much for your answer, I will try this program. And what about the PalmOS version of the tutorials? Do you use the PalmOS emulator or another kind of software? Two years ago I've used the PalmOS emulator for a presentation and captured everything with Camedia, it worked fine, but maybe there's something new.

Re: Windows Mobile Emulator

I used the Simulator rather than the emulator but it's a similar program - you get it from the Palm developers site.
