Buying my 1st PDA

Hello all,

I am in the market for a PDA, although I am stalled at the moment on the palm treo(680 and up) and the nokia E61. I like the wifi capability on the nokia and I have not been able to find this feature on the palms yet. I intend on running Epocrates and other medical programs. Any suggestions and advice will be helpful.

Thanks in advance,
Yaw

Re: Buying my 1st PDA

If you are looking to run medical software you are probably better going for the Treo as it will have a wider range available for it.

In particular, Epocrates is only available for Palm, Pocket PC, Windows Mobile Smartphone and Windows Mobile 5 at the moment.

Regarding wifi, you can get a wifi card to plug into your treo: http://store.palm.com/sm-wi-fi-card-...i-1853744.html

Or, you could buy a Palm with wifi already such as the Palm TX:

Hope that helps,

Chris

Re: Buying my 1st PDA

thanks, I am now pretty certain I will choose a palm treo device. i researched the wifi cards and i only found a bulky sleed device. Are there any cards that can be hidden from view or less bulky. Finally, with my carrier i think only a gsm treo like the 680 will work for me and these do no appear to have a wifi card.

Thanks again,
Yaw

Re: Buying my 1st PDA

The SD wifi card is not very bulky but won't work on a 680.

COMPATIBLE WITH:
Treo 700wx
Treo 700w
Tungsten E2
