Thumbs up Nokia E61 as a PDA ?

Hi,
I m junior Doctor who is planning to buy my first PDA. Can any one comment on Nokia e61 as a PDA for a doctor. Are there Medical software for Symbian OS.

Hi Rasanga, welcome to the forum!

There is more software available for Palm or Pocket PC (Windows Mobile) PDAs than for symbian ones generally. Some medical software companies support symbian but in general I'd recommend going for a Palm or Windows Mobile PDA.

You can get some pretty nice WM phones now - I use an iMate K-Jam which I think is pretty good.

Do you have any particular medical software in mind?

Hi,
Thanks a lot for u r advice. Really there is no special software in my mind. i wish to have a good drug formulry and few islo3 e books for my reference . There is O2 xda Mini II, (used one). It has Windows Mobile 2003SE. Wonder that is good? I will be great full if some can advice me.

The XDA Mini II is a pretty good PDA. You should be able to run most software on it. There is a newer version of WM now but most places still sell software for WM2003.
