Treo 700p questions.

Anyone have any experience with using the TREO 700p (verizon) as a PDA - medical resource, phone, and Web brower via EVDO? Any problems with older apps and the palm OS 5.4 (Friend said Johns hopkins ABX guide didn't work on his newer palm device)?

Planning to add 5MCC, epocrates, other apps.
As far as apps- is 5MCC the way to go- I've used Outlines of Clinical medicine and have liked that.
Is Skyscape's Dr. drugs the best drug reference?

Not used the treo 700p yet but:

According to the Skyscape website, the 5MCC works on OS version 3.5 and up (presumably this includes 5.4).

With epocrates, they say required Palm 5 or higher so should work.

Can't find anything about JH ABX I'm afraid.

If you want to be sure, you could try firing off a few emails to the support for Skyscape and Epocrates.
