USBMIS To Support BlackBerry Platform

Gainesville, FL – www.usbmis.com – April 11, 2006 - For medical professionals who
carry a BlackBerry device, US Biomedical Information Systems (“USBMIS”) is making
clinical applications such as the Sanford Guide to Antimicrobial Therapy and
Tarascon Pharmacopoeia available for the BlackBerry platform.

USBMIS, a leading developer of medical reference software for handheld computers,
today announced its participation in the BlackBerry ISV Alliance Program.
Participating in the ISV Alliance program will allow USBMIS to work strategically
with Research In Motion (“RIM”) to develop and promote its most popular titles
for the BlackBerry platform.

“We see this as a great opportunity for USBMIS and Research In Motion,” said Darwin
Ang, Chief Executive Officer of USBMIS, “by bringing our mobile software
titles to the BlackBerry platform we will make the device more useful to medical
professionals and ultimately help the patients they care for.” The first
BlackBerry titles by USBMIS will be available later this year.

The BlackBerry ISV Alliance Program will allow USBMIS to receive a wealth of
information and support from RIM. Included in these benefits are:

* Product support, including special pricing and rebate programs.
* Development support from the BlackBerry Developer Zone and BlackBerry Partner
Zone, as well as dedicated technical resources for application development support,
guidance and education.
* Marketing support, including marketing materials and joint branding opportunities,
access to RIM-sponsored industry research, co-marketing opportunities such as trade
shows and webinars, sales lead and Customer Reference Program opportunities, and
complimentary listing in RIM’s annual Enterprise Solutions Guide for BlackBerry.
* Sales support, including assistance from the RIM Business Development team in
developing go-to-market strategies for BlackBerry wireless solutions; access to
comprehensive sales support resources, as well as the ability to post online
application demonstrations in the Enterprise Solutions Center for BlackBerry.
* Training support, including access to online training, and the opportunity to
participate in classroom training.

Re: USBMIS To Support BlackBerry Platform

Just bought USBMIS' Current Consult and Pharmacopeia. Horrible. It was so slow and asked USBMIS for a refund after 2 weeks. They would NOT give me my money back after 3 requests. Moreover, there is no telephone number to talk directly with customer service.

I know this will sound redundant, but check out ARUP Consult, it's a great and quick reference for diagnostic advice, just browse by disease topic or condition but the coolest part is that it tells you the exact tests that should be run for that diagnosis and why. It's pretty cool, simple and someone is always there to talk to.

Good luck with USBMIS' gig.
